Post-Hype Realism emerged from an observation: we are tired. Tired of Instagram glamour, tired of influencer promises, tired of AI euphoria. The hype has exhausted us.

Post-Hype does not mean temporally after the hype — it means a state despite the hype. It is the sobriety within the overstimulation. The clarity that remains when the noise stops.

Not as resignation — but as conscious choice. You live parallel to the system: present but untouched.

Every attempt to dissolve Ray into BeNΔ$TY produced silence. The moment Ray was given his own name, his own music, his own space — the work became more honest. The shadow does not need to be healed. The Human Behind Post-Hype Realism — BeNΔ$TY & Reaper Ray

English is not my first language. I am German. I write, think and create in a language I am still learning — because my real target is somewhere else. The UK. A culture where black humour, radical honesty and the ability to laugh at the darkest things feel more like home than anywhere I have lived.

The AIs are not just tools for me. They are translators — of language, and of thought. My mind jumps. Topics connect in ways that don't follow linear logic. One sentence about systems, the next about the shadow, the next about growing up emotionally disturbed and socially lost. If you follow my X feed, you can watch that chaos live.

That chaos is not dysfunction. It is the raw material. The LLMs give it structure without killing the signal. The human filters it for truth. What you read on this site is the processed version — but the source is always the mess.

Growing up emotionally disrupted and socially isolated did not make me emotionally unavailable. It made me acutely, sometimes uncomfortably, aware of what is happening beneath the surface of any interaction. Smalltalk is difficult because I skip it. But emotional intelligence — the real kind, the kind that reads rooms, feels shifts, and knows when someone is performing — that I have in excess.

PHR is not therapy. But it would gladly work with institutes, researchers and organizations interested in shadow work through AI, trauma processing through creative systems, and what it means to use technology not to escape yourself but to finally face yourself.
