Every Mirror Check result places you in one of 14 archetypes. Each one is a position on the doctrine, not a verdict on the person. This page is the reference: what each class means, when it triggers, and what to read next. Take the test at /mirror. The current public count is at /stats.
// The four axes
Every archetype is a coordinate. The Mirror Check scores four axes; your archetype is the point where all four meet. The words in each trigger line below — hype, reaper, medulla, practice, aware — are these four axes.
How much the attention cycle still runs you. Low means post-hyped — you have stepped off. High means still inside: metrics, novelty and reach set your tempo.
Which of the two voices carries more. Reaper is the protector — anger at the pattern, refusal as form. Medulla is the devotional — patience, longing, truth without mask. voiceLean is the gap between them; balanced means neither rides you.
Whether you live the doctrine or only know it. Low means the tools stay unnamed and the seams get smoothed. High means tools named, seams left visible, the smaller room accepted.
Whether you see your parts as voices or as symptoms. Low means what drives you feels simply like you. High means the carrier is awake: you see the parts and give none of them the wheel.
Each axis lands you in a band — low, mid or high. The combination of all four is your archetype. That is why two people who have both post-hyped can still be different classes: the other three axes decide.
Someone who has fully integrated the Reaper voice: the protector, the cutter, the one who refuses cheap signals. They have left the hype cycle, they practice the doctrine daily, they can name which part of them is speaking at any moment. Cynicism and harshness are their precision tools, but only used against the right targets (the algorithm, the cultural slop, the dishonest pitch). Never against themselves or others without reason. The refusal is so consistent it became beautiful. Gold instead of bone.

Someone who has fully integrated the Medulla voice: the devotional, the longing, the one who holds the wound without trying to close it. They have left the cycle, they practice daily, they see their parts working. The longing is no longer a problem to fix; it is the engine of the practice. Their mask is kintsugi bone: broken, repaired with gold, kept visible. Where Goldmask refuses, Bone Mask holds.

The BeNΔ$TY archetype. Someone who carries both voices in balance: Reaper when protection is needed, Medulla when devotion is needed. Self in the centre, neither voice running the show. They have post-hyped, they practice daily, they can recognise which part is speaking when and let it speak without enthroning it. This is the operational form of the doctrine: both voices alive as tools, no part on the throne. The Carrier carries the parts. Not the other way around.

Someone who has chosen the Reaper-side of the doctrine and is doing the work. The protective voice is online. They understand what cynicism is for, they cut cheap signals with discipline, they recognise when the algorithm is asking them to perform. They have largely left the hype cycle but still feel its pull. Not yet at the Goldmask extreme: the practice is gathering force, the integrity is being forged. Reaper as discipline, not as performance.

They are reading the doctrine and applying it. Not yet at the Bone Mask extreme: the road is long, the steps are real, the maximum has not been reached. Medulla as discipline, not as content.

Someone whose Reaper voice has woken up but the doctrine is still forming. They feel the protective edge, they recognise the slop when they see it, they sense the algorithm asking them to perform, but the practice is not yet daily and the integration is incomplete. The blade is being sharpened without yet cutting cleanly. What is missing: the structural understanding (Architecture) and the IFS correction (the Reaper voice is a part, not the throne). Without that, the cynicism can misfire: turning sharpness against the self instead of against the cycle.

Someone whose Medulla voice has woken up but the doctrine is still forming. They feel the longing, they sense the devotional pull, they understand that the wound has meaning, but the practice is not yet daily and the position is not declared. Studying the path, learning the chants, not yet inducted into the order. What is missing: the discipline to hold the longing without publishing it (Honest Romance), and the language to name the voice in full (Ray Medulla). Without that, devotion can collapse into content.

Someone doing the practice without having declared a voice. Not fully in the hype cycle (they no longer react to every trend), not fully out either (they have not declared themselves Reaper- or Medulla-aligned). The work happens: daily, honest, doctrine-coherent. But the voices speak quietly and neither has chosen sides yet. Walking the line is also a position. The centre is forming through the practice itself, before the voice declares. With time, this often resolves into Carrier (balanced extreme) or one of the doctrine-aligned poles. For now: the edge is the seat.

Someone with voice, but the voice is for the audience, not for the work. Reaper-edge when cynicism performs, Medulla-vulnerability when sadness performs, whichever the algorithm rewards that week. The doctrine is actively refused: the seam is hidden, the polish is the product, the audience is the editor. They produce content, not work. This is the active producer of slop, not the passive consumer. The hardest tier to leave because the voice is real and the engagement is real. Only the position is missing.

Someone whose Reaper voice exists but is used to perform, not to protect. The cut is for the camera, not the kitchen. Hard edge as content, refusal as branding, doctrine as costume. They have read the texts but the practice is performative. The protector serves the post instead of the person. Smoke without fire: looks dangerous, leaves no mark. They are still inside the hype cycle, but they have learnt to dress the cycle in PHR-adjacent language.

Someone whose Medulla voice exists but is turned into content. The longing is real and the post is also real. The two have not yet been separated. The wound is published before it is held. Devotion becomes feed. They feel the pull of Honest Romance but cannot yet stop the camera. Still inside the cycle, but already speaking the doctrine's language, without yet operating its discipline.

Someone who sees both voices, sees the cycle, sees the trap, but has not yet stepped off. Full awareness without position. They can read PHR and nod along; they can name the slop when they see it; they understand that the algorithm is editing them, and they keep scrolling anyway. The most quietly painful tier: enough sight to know the game is rigged, not enough force to leave it. The carrier-self is forming but the cycle still holds the wheel.

Someone for whom the feed has always been the editor. The algorithm is the ear, the metric is the goal, the voices have not yet woken up: Reaper is silent, Medulla is silent, only the next trend speaks. Not a failure. Just a starting point. Awareness is low because the question has not yet been asked. The doctrine is far away because nothing has shown them the door yet. Most people in this tier are not searching for PHR. They arrived by accident.

Someone still inside the cycle, running after every new hype without yet recognising the pattern. The latest tool, the latest trend, the latest take: each one feels urgent, each one fades, the next one arrives. No protective voice yet (Reaper is asleep), no devotional voice yet (Medulla is asleep), only the feed and the next thing. They have not yet recognised that the reality they react to is largely fabricated by the algorithm. Not broken, not stupid. They have simply not been shown that there is a door. Most people start here. Every Carrier was a Hype-Follower once. The only question is whether they read on.
