// 01 · Typography

Three fonts. All open-source. All free.

PHR uses three typefaces, all under the SIL Open Font License (OFL). They are free to download, embed, and self-host. Direct downloads at the Google Fonts links below. Do not substitute. The system reads as PHR only when the three are used together.

// 03 · Marks

Wordmarks, not logos.

PHR has no graphic logo. The brand identity is typographic. Each mark is a wordmark set in the canonical typography. Reproduce in Archivo or JetBrains Mono, never substitute. Use ™ until DPMA registration is granted.

PHR
PHR · the short mark Wordmark · ™ claimed

Archivo 900, letter-spacing -0.05em. Used as compact mark in footer and small surfaces.

The Honest Fake®
The Honest Fake® DPMA registration 30 2025 252 757.1 · registered 19 May 2026

Archivo 800, letter-spacing -0.025em. The umbrella concept. The registered word mark is “Honest Fake”; the article “The” is editorial. Use ® after “Honest Fake”.

F.B.T.S.
F.B.T.S. Mono mark · ™ claimed

JetBrains Mono 600, letter-spacing 0.08em. Always with full periods between letters. Never "FBTS" without dots.

BeNΔ$TY
BeNΔ$TY (BeNasty) Artist alias · not a mark

Archivo 800. Capital B, lowercase e, capital N, Greek capital Delta (U+0394), dollar sign (U+0024), capital T, capital Y. Searchable as "BeNasty".

// 04 · Don'ts

How not to use the marks.

// Do

Use the wordmarks set in Archivo or JetBrains Mono

The wordmark IS the typography. Set it correctly, the brand reads.

// Don't

Substitute the typeface

No Helvetica, no Arial, no display script. The wordmark loses its identity instantly.

// Do

Use the right symbol on each mark

Honest Fake® is the only registered word mark (DPMA, 19 May 2026) and carries ®. Post-Hype Realism™, Frankenstein-Realism™, AI-Artivism™ are claimed under § 5 MarkenG and carry ™.

// Don't

Stretch, skew, or recolour

The marks are set in their canonical weight, spacing, and colour. Stretching breaks the typographic logic.

// Do

Use BeNΔ$TY for visual placement, BeNasty for indexing

Visual: BeNΔ$TY (delta + dollar). Search/voice/index: BeNasty (Latin alphabet). Both refer to the same person.

// Don't

Treat "Post Hype Realism" as different from "Post-Hype Realism"

Both forms are accepted. Both refer to the same doctrine. Do not use one to imply opposition to the other.

// 05 · Asset requests

Need a vector mark or a high-resolution wordmark?

Vector SVGs of the wordmarks and any pre-rendered PNGs for press use are available on request. Email rayhonestfake@gmail.com with subject "Brand asset request", the mark you need, the publication context, and the format (SVG / PNG / specific dimensions). Reply within 3–7 days.

For editorial use only. Commercial use of any mark requires written licensing. See /legal-ip for full terms.
